I am an Assistant Professor in the Philosophy Department at the University at Buffalo, SUNY. My primary areas of interest are ethics, metaethics, practical reason, and aesthetics.

My current research concerns practical deliberation and the 'ought' implies 'can' principle. For more on my research interests, click over to Research.

You can find me elsewhere on the web as the aesthetics area editor for the Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy and as the Roving Reporter/all-purpose sidekick on the blog Aesthetics for Birds.

Feel free to send me an email at alexk@buffalo.edu.
